General Provisions

  • These rules govern the legal relationships between UAB “Baltic Chain” (hereinafter – the Seller) and the Buyer in the online store www.youmame.eu, their rights and obligations, the procedures for concluding a purchase-sale agreement (hereinafter – the Agreement), the payment and delivery procedures for the goods sold (hereinafter – the Goods), the return and exchange procedures for the Goods, as well as the protection of personal data processed for the purposes of concluding and properly executing the Agreement. Hereinafter – the Rules.
  • The Rules become binding for all visitors to the online store who have concluded a purchase-sale agreement with the Seller from the moment they familiarize themselves with and confirm the Rules.
  • By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and other applicable conditions provided on the website www.youmame.eu, and agrees to comply with them.
  • Purchase-sale agreements for Goods sold in the online store are concluded and executed only within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • The online store operates 24 hours a day, from 00:00 to 24:00 every day.
  • To achieve better operational results and meet customer expectations, UAB “Baltic Chain” constantly reviews the range of offered goods and reserves the right to change the assortment and prices of goods listed in the online store and other stores.
  • Any person aged fourteen or older (minors with the consent of their parents or guardians) has the right to purchase in our online store.

Eligible Buyers in the Online Store

  • Legally capable natural persons, i.e., persons who have reached the age of majority and whose legal capacity is not restricted by court order.
  • Minors aged fourteen to eighteen, only with the consent of their parents or guardians, except in cases where they independently manage their income.
  • Legal entities.
  • Authorized representatives of all the aforementioned persons.

Information about the Seller

  • The Rules apply to the purchase of Goods at www.youmame.eu.   • Data about the Seller is collected and stored in the Register of Legal Entities, managed by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers.

Personal Data Processing

  • The Seller processes the Buyer’s personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. As the Privacy Policy contains important provisions of the Rules, it is recommended that the Buyer carefully read and ensure that all provisions of the Privacy Policy are clear and acceptable.

Seller’s Rights:

  • If the Buyer attempts to harm the stability or security of the online store or violates their obligations, the Seller has the right to immediately and without warning restrict, suspend, or terminate the Buyer’s access to the online store www.youmame.eu
  • The Seller has the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the operation of certain functions of the online store, in whole or in part, without notifying the Buyer.
  • The Seller has the right to temporarily or indefinitely cease the operation of the online store without separate notice. In such cases, all confirmed orders are delivered to the Buyer, but new orders are no longer accepted.
  • The Seller has the right to cancel the Buyer’s order without prior notice if:
    • The Buyer fails to pay for the Goods within 1 (one) working day when paying by bank transfer to the Seller’s account.
    • The Buyer fails to pay for the Goods within 1 (one) working day when paying via online banking.
  • If the Seller, due to significant reasons, is unable to fulfill the order on time and properly, the Seller reserves the right to change the delivery conditions or cancel the order, informing the Buyer in advance and refunding the payment.
  • The Seller has other rights provided in the Rules, Privacy Policy, and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • The Seller has the right to transfer the Buyer’s data necessary for delivery (name, surname, delivery address, contact phone number, and email address) to the courier service delivering the Goods to the Buyer.

Seller’s Obligations:

  • The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer’s privacy and process the Buyer’s personal data only in accordance with the Rules, Privacy Policy, and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • The Seller undertakes not to disclose the Buyer’s data to third parties, except in cases specified in these Rules or when required by the relevant authorities of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • The Seller undertakes to organize the delivery of the order to the address specified by the Buyer, under the conditions applicable at the time of order placement.
  • If the Seller is unable to deliver the Goods due to circumstances beyond their control, the Seller undertakes to offer the Buyer an equivalent or higher-priced alternative product. If the Buyer refuses the alternative product, the Seller shall refund the payment within 5 (five) working days. In such cases, the Seller is released from liability for non-delivery of the Goods.
  • Upon receiving a written notice from the Buyer about order cancellation and the return of the Goods, the Seller shall refund the payment for the Goods within 14 (fourteen) days from the return of the Goods.
  • If the Seller does not agree with the Buyer’s request to cancel the order and refund the payment, the Seller must provide a detailed, motivated written refusal within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the Buyer’s request.
  • The Seller undertakes to comply with other requirements specified in the Rules, Privacy Policy, and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

Buyer’s Rights:

  • The Buyer has the right to purchase Goods in the online store in accordance with the Rules, information provided on the online store’s pages, and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • The Buyer has the right to access their personal data and request correction of incorrect personal data.
  • The Buyer has the right to receive Goods of appropriate quality, properly packaged.
  • The Buyer has the right, within 24 hours of receiving the Goods, to inspect them and, if they are defective or not as ordered, return them to the Seller.
  • The Buyer has the right to receive a refund for the Goods within 5 working days to the bank account used for payment, if the ordered Goods are no longer available, the order is canceled, or the Goods are returned to the Seller.
  • The Buyer has other rights specified in the Rules, Privacy Policy, and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

Buyer’s Obligations:

  • When ordering Goods in the online store, the Buyer must provide accurate personal data necessary for order fulfillment, as specified in the Privacy Policy.
  • If the personal data provided during the order changes, the Buyer must immediately inform the Seller via email and phone.
  • The Buyer undertakes to accept the Goods and pay for the Goods and their delivery in accordance with the terms and conditions of the purchase-sale agreement.
  • After creating an account in the online store, the Buyer undertakes to protect and not disclose their login details to third parties. If login details are lost, the Buyer must immediately inform the Seller.
  • Upon receiving the shipment, the Buyer must check whether the shipment is not externally damaged (torn, crumpled, or otherwise damaged) and whether all ordered Goods have been delivered. High-quality, non-perishable Goods or Goods whose shape, size, color, model, or completeness the Buyer dislikes may be exchanged or returned in accordance with the Retail Trade Rules approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on June 11, 2001, Resolution No. 697, the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, and other applicable legal acts. If the Buyer is not satisfied with the quality of delivered perishable Goods (food products and beverages with a short shelf life, including those requiring refrigeration as specified by the manufacturer), the Buyer must contact the Seller no later than 24 hours after delivery via email: shop@youmame.eu
  • The Buyer undertakes to comply with the Rules, Privacy Policy, other conditions specified in the online store, and the requirements set out in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.

Goods and Their Prices

  • Images of Goods in the online store are for illustrative purposes. The Seller cannot guarantee that the Buyer’s device screen will accurately reflect the colors of the Goods, despite efforts to display them as accurately as possible. The Buyer understands that the Goods may slightly differ from their images.
  • The packaging of Goods may differ from that shown in the images on the online store.
  • All Goods listed in the online store are available unless explicitly stated otherwise. If the ordered Goods are no longer available, the Buyer is refunded within 5 working days to the bank account used for payment, and the order is canceled.
  • The Seller has the right to set minimum and/or maximum order quantities for certain Goods for a single order.
  • The main characteristics and prices (including taxes) of the Goods and services provided by the Seller are specified in the Goods’ descriptions. VAT (where applicable) is applied at the rate valid in the Republic of Lithuania at the time.
  • The validity period of the prices of Goods and services, as well as the Seller’s promotions, is in real-time unless a specific validity period is indicated.
  • Prices of Goods in the online store are indicated in euros.
  • The Seller has the right to change the prices of Goods sold in the online store at any time.
  • The prices applicable to the Buyer’s ordered Goods are those valid at the time of order placement. After order placement, the Seller may change prices only if related to technical errors in the information system of the online store. In such cases, the Seller must immediately inform the Buyer and discuss further order fulfillment conditions. If the Buyer wishes, the order is canceled, and the Seller must refund all payments made for the order.
  • The prices of Goods do not include delivery costs.

Payment Procedure

  • Payment for ordered Goods in the online store can be made:
    • Via online banking.
    • By bank transfer to the Seller’s account.
  • If the Buyer chooses to pay via online banking, the payment must be completed immediately.
  • When paying by bank transfer, the Buyer must indicate the order number provided by the Seller in the payment purpose.
  • An invoice is sent to the email address provided by the Buyer in the order and/or during the delivery (handover-acceptance) of the Goods. The purchase documents indicate the ordered Goods, their quantity, the final price of the Goods including all taxes, discounts provided by the Seller, delivery fees, and other necessary information.

Liability

  • The Buyer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in their account and during the order. The Buyer assumes full responsibility for consequences arising from incorrect (inaccurate or erroneous) data provided.
  • The Buyer is responsible for disclosing their account details to third parties. If a third party uses the Buyer’s account details, the Buyer is responsible for the actions of the third party.
  • The Seller is released from any liability for losses incurred due to the Buyer’s failure to familiarize themselves with the Rules, Privacy Policy, and other information provided on the website, despite the Seller’s recommendations and the Buyer’s obligations.
  • By placing an order, the Buyer agrees that their provided personal data will be processed for the purposes of order fulfillment.
  • For breaches of the purchase-sale agreement concluded through the online store, the Parties are liable in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • The amount of damages that the Seller is liable to compensate is limited to the price of the Goods ordered by the Buyer.

Information Sending

  • The Seller sends all notifications to the email address provided by the Buyer in the registration form.
  • The Buyer sends all notifications and questions to the Seller’s contacts (email shop@youmame.eu or phone +370 693 44952). Consultations are available on working days from 9:00 to 18:00.

Final Provisions

  • These Purchase-Sale Rules are drawn up in accordance with the laws and legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • These Rules are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. All disputes arising from the implementation of these Rules are resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes are resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Disputes are examined by mutual agreement of the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, you may submit a written complaint regarding a product or service purchased from our online store to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Vilniaus g. 25, 01402 Vilnius, email tarnyba@vvtat.lt, tel. +370 5 262 67 51, fax. +370 5 279 1466, website www.vvtat.lt, also to the territorial divisions of the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority in the counties), or fill out an application form on the EGS platform at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

Product Shelf Life and Quality Assurance

  • Shelf Life Information: Youmame.lt ensures that all food products sold comply with the requirements of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and are suitable for consumption within their shelf life. A minimum 14-day shelf life guarantee from droit applies to all food products we sell, unless otherwise stated in the product description. This means that when ordering a product, you can be assured that it will be suitable for consumption for at least two weeks from the delivery date. If you receive a product with a shelf life shorter than 14 days, you have the right to return or exchange it free of charge.
  • Quality Assurance: Youmame.lt follows the “First In, First Out” principle, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled chronologically based on the order time. This method is widely recognized and used in food product trade.
  • Returns and Claims Regarding Shelf Life:
    • If the Buyer notices discrepancies between the shelf life indicated on the website at the time of ordering and the received product, they must report this within 24 hours of receiving the Goods via email to shop@youmame.eu. This deadline is set in accordance with the Retail Trade Rules and Food Hygiene Rules.
    • Returns or compensation for shelf life issues are considered only if the shelf life does not match the one indicated at the time of ordering or if the product is unfit for consumption under the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Responsibility for Information: Youmame.lt ensures that all information about products is accurate and complies with legal acts. However, the Buyer is responsible for their decision to purchase Goods based on the provided information.
