The dark brown gravy like sauce usually made with over 30 ingredients such as chili peppers, nuts, spices, veggies, chocolate and many other seasonings. The enigmatic, bold and all-round delicious sauce is painstaking and time consuming to make from scratch. Thankfully, Doña Maria has done all the heavy lifting for us and presents this ready to eat Mole sauce. This sauce is ready to be heated at home and pour over your favorite poultry and serve with a side of red rice for one of the most authentic Mexican meals ever created.

How to prepare it:
Pour the whole contents in a pot and cook for 5 minutes on low to medium heat, stirring constantly until it looks like a runny paste. Slowly add 3.5 cups of water and continue stirring until integrated. Let boil until the desired consistency is reached. For a runnier sauce, just add more water.
*Tip: for a richer flavour, you can use chicken stock instead of water.
Keep in a dry, cool place. Once opened, keep refrigerated for a maximum of 5 days.
